Mar 27 and Mar 28 - Robert T McDaniel services (obituary)

Fort Worth’s last surviving member of the Tuskegee Airmen died last Tuesday at the age of 96.  Robert T McDaniel was one of the elite black airmen who flew combat aircraft in World War II at a time when the military was segregated.

Visitation: 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at historic Baker Funeral Home.

Wake: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Presbyterian Church, 5801 Truman Drive.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2823 North Houston St., Fort Worth.

Burial: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
