Aug 1 (Saturday) - Benefit Ride for Kaleb - In the evening hours on July 21st, 16 year old Kaleb and 2 friends were headed to the lake and in the blink of an eye a semi-rig hit Kaleb on the drivers side of his vehicle. The other 2 passengers were checked out at the local hospital and were released later on. Unfortunately the same can not be said for Kaleb. Besides the massive internal injuries, the doctors said that 75% of his brain had suffered stroke damage, meaning he would only live on through machines. His parents Bryan and Amanda had to make a choice no parent ever wants to make for their child... for him to live on in the bodies of other people. His heart will love, his lungs will breathe fresh air, his eyes will see sunsets...
Your attendance will show we support the community during times of need & all monies collected this day will go toward Kaleb's burial. His parents will not be able to pay for this without everyone's help. Come & go as you please. Day will start with a ride & end up at The Shop for a great afternoon. Bike Wash ** 50/50 ** Raffles ** Door Prizes - Have something you want to donate bring it! This is time critical so friends of the family are doing what they can. We just met this family while riding on Sunday & they asked us to ride with them to honor Kaleb, let's show them how amazing the ALR is.
